Okay, just trying to update everyone involved here. I heard back from Chribba yesterday, but it was just to inquire as to where the collateral was located. I evemailed him back and am waiting for a further response. Real life is infinitely more important than internet spaceships so I'll give him another couple days before mailing Grendell. He is taking a break from the game iirc so we may have a no-go here, but don't lose hope yet.
